Fully Melt Away from Edges
To achieve an even burn and prevent tunnelling, it is important to allow the candle wax to melt completely to the edges during each use. This typically takes 1 to 2 hours, depending on the candle size. Tunneling occurs when the wax does not melt evenly, leading to wasted wax and reduced burn time.
