Established in 2018, Pepper & Oak Candle Co. is committed to curating amazing scents that actually last. My candle-making journey started out as a hobby as I was on a quest to create scented candles with a lasting fragrance, using ingredients that didn't leave my ceiling covered in soot! After a rigorous process of ingredient selection, I nailed the technique and couldn't resist the opportunity to share my products with others.
I value beautiful neutral living and source clean and simple ingredients to handcraft my products. With a focus on accentuating the need for self-care, I believe everyone needs to slow down, take a breath and immerse themselves in a moment of me-time.

HOW DO I GET THE BEST LIFE OUT OF MY CANDLE?
When lighting your candle for the first time, do not extinguish the candle until the wax melts across entire surface to the sides of glassware (this will help prevent tunnelling and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle’s ‘life’). Depending on your environment, this may take approx. 2-3 hours.
Trim the wick to 5mm every 3 hours of burn time. When trimming, always extinguish the flame, let the candle cool down to room temperature, remove any wick debris and trim the wick before relighting.
Keep your soy candles away from drafts to prevent smoking and soot.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Don’t place a burning candle within two feet of anything flammable.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Place candle on a stable, heat resistant
surface that is sturdy.
A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.
HOW DO I GET THE BEST LIFE OUT OF MY REED DIFFUSER?
Flip your reed diffuser sticks regularly to release fragrance into the room.
Keep your reed diffuser away from direct sunlight.
Do not ingest oils. Use caution when filling your bottles with oil or flipping your reeds as oils can damage some surfaces. Do not light reeds. Be careful not to tip over the diffuser. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICK UP?
Yes. Pickup is from The Oaks, NSW 2570 which is located in Australia. All pick ups must be arranged with me prior to ensure your order will be ready. You will find further instructions and details upon checkout.
